The Lagoa International Jazz festival stats this weekend at the idyllic setting of the Fontes at Estombar.

The festival which has been running since 2003 kicks off this Friday (28th June) with the Tyler Faraday trio and tales from Michael

June 29th – Saturday
LRK Trio & J.D Walter

June 30th
1st part - Cláudio Alves (guitar and vocals) - Gonçalo Sousa (harmonica) "Pela Rua Fora"
2nd part:  "Três Mundos" with Fausto Beccalossi - acordean
Roberto Taufic – Acustic guitar and Carlos “El tero” Buschini – Acustic base

The event opens at 19h00 and concerts start at 22h00 but it is worth turning up earlier and enjoying a drink in the open air lounge, some “street food” and pre entertainment the concerts are held in the covered Amphitheatre and it is worth remembering to take a jacket for a cooler evening and don’t forget the insect spray as there can be quite a few mosquitos at this time of year – don’t let that put you off as it really is an event not to be missed.
